So still learning WA politics. Marie Gluesenkamp Perez is a Democrat representing a rural Washington district. She fell on my radar because she is one of a small number of Democrats who voted for the Save Act. Her district is pissed and so am I

I don’t even know what to say. 

Maybe I am surprised she didn’t fall down the crunchy alt right pipeline 

Maybe she has good instincts and values but profoundly misunderstands policymaking

Maybe she totally gets it and I’m an elitist city bitch.

She is is a trip and I found this interview interesting. I’d probably enjoy organizing with her but not representing me in the House 

She’s so close but so far away
