Really not convinced that Benning is simply waived tomorrow as a precursor to LTIR activations He's played 464 NHL games (just 5 AHL games), gets assists at a decent rate, and had solid D metrics pre-SJ I think they keep 8 NHL D (Top 4, Benoit, Timmins, Hakanpää, Benning)
