update on the situation in Lebanon: the number of children killed in Lebanon has reached a very scary number… Yesterday, Israel bombed six buildings in southern Beirut, resulting in numerous casualties, with many dead, injured, and missing. My aunt and her family witnessed the aftermath, seeing smoke rise from the buildings. Throughout the night, they heard the constant sound of military planes flying overhead, while the children found refuge in the kitchen. People are now afraid to leave their homes due to the influx of those fleeing from the south. The bombings continued today, further intensifying fears. Many believe the situation in the Middle East could escalate rapidly, especially with concerns that Iran may become involved in the conflict. We all are victims of our governments, no matter in which country we live in or come from.
