🇦🇷 Hand of God is a phrase used by Diego Maradona, a former Argentine soccer player, to describe a goal he scored with his hand in the quarter-final between Argentina and England at the 1986 FIFA World Cup. As video assistant referee technology did not yet exist, the goal was confirmed by the referees.
