Some iterations of the series use a "turmite" (Turing machine with orientation) for building the grid that supports different structures. These are fascinating simple algorithms that are still not understood by mathematicians. 1/3

Here is the grid that serves as construction for this iteration as well as the turmite with rule 29, known as the "Loopy growth with holes". It was stopped after 4000 steps.
