Which replies show up in feeds? - If there is a reply from the author (thread) it will always show up - If there are replies from other users, it may show up if it has engagement and is from someone you follow

This will run as an experiment with 50% of users seeing replies and 50% of users not seeing them. If the metrics and feedback from users is positive over this week, we'll roll it out to everyone.

like to see replies from 1) author; 2) from power badge user (for now) & author liked/replied; 3) other replies that has significant likes from power badge users or just general users (w/ bots likes filtered)

What metrics are ya looking at for this one? Reply modules tend to be highly impactful for personalized in network content, but also out of network (both likes and new follows).

Curious what metrics you’re using, I did a ton of a/b testing previously I wouldn’t think this could move (q)DAU retention, but probably could impact time in app or engagement metrics

could we also run a week where high quality replies from peeps we -don't- follow show up? If the algo -is- good at deciding what one will consider h. quality then replies from not-following will still entice interaction. + helps discover new peeps to follow & if peeps dislike too much could indicate algo needs refine
