trying to upgrade farcaster hubs to ethers6, @ricmoo is there a replacement for utils.verifyTypedData to validate EIP712 stuff? 

or is the desired behavior to call recoverAddress manually?

too risky right now, viem is still new and hubs are shipping next week which makes a large refactor quite scary

might consider that for a future release

true story. but in our case: 

1. there are some bugs with elliptic which ethers 5.7 which make me uneasy (v6 uses noble) 

2. we have a pretty thorough test suite for ethers, and so verifying that nothing has broken is a lot easier for us
