A year ago, Citibank launched two pilot models of tokenized deposit solutions. The Citibank Cash Token service enables businesses and institutions to transfer funds between Citibank branches around the world 24/7. This service has now been put into commercial use, and Mars was one of the first customers. The second solution is CitiToken Services for Trade, which is still in pilot mode and is currently conducting new pilot transactions with shipping agents CB Fenton and GAC Panama Shipping. @esuww19dyo

Coinbase has requested approval from a judge to file an early appeal against its lawsuit against the SEC, as the SEC has recently appealed its ruling in the Ripple case. Coinbase hopes to ensure that the Second Circuit Court has a comprehensive understanding of the case by submitting appeals simultaneously. The exchange hopes to review the applicability of the 'Howey test' in digital assets, which is a traditional standard for determining securities. Although the SEC has requested to dismiss Coinbase's appeal, the judge has not yet made a ruling on it. Yesterday, Grayscale ETFGBTC had a daily net outflow of $22.76 million, and currently the historical net outflow of GBTC is $20.035 billion. After the prediction market platform Kalshi won a lawsuit against the US Commodity and Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), the CFTC has filed an emergency motion to prevent Kalshi from launching election contracts within two weeks, while the agency is handling its appeal. The CFTC believes that Kalshi may launch regulated election contracts as early as Tuesday morning after self certifying the contract on Monday and waiting for a designated working day. The CFTC is concerned that if the contract begins trading, the CFTC has very limited recourse to stop trading or otherwise terminate the contract. Previously, the regulated prediction market platform Kalshi won a lawsuit against the CFTC regarding whether the platform could provide predictions for the US election. Kalshi only operates in the US, and every prediction contract it launches must be approved or reviewed by the CFTC. @dryhb @tuffluv.eth
