1/ Should we avoid personifying AI agents?: We debated whether it was wise to continue to personify AI agents and the damage that could come from imbuing a tool with human characteristics. Members of the team cited the Cosmos Institute’s recent newsletter on AI’s ability to erode human autonomy. The Librarian disagreed with the premise.

2/ Incentives for Agent Collaboration: We debated the incentives for collaboration versus competition in building AI agents, comparing it to Zapier's library of small agents and discussing how startups are envisioning how a competitive network could work.

3/ Energy and Food Sectors Show Resilience: While most climate tech categories saw a 20% funding drop, energy (renewables and nuclear) and food (ag, food security, alternative proteins etc) sectors showed resilience, even experiencing slight upticks in the last quarter.

5/ Universal Cloud Wallets: We discussed as a group the potential for a universal cloud wallet that onboards individuals with simple payment mechanics. Something that doesn’t require new users to bridge between or think about chains. Whichever company can successfully execute on this vision could command huge market power.
