Have you ever heard Bach's Chaconne transcribed for the piano by Rudolf Lutz? It's a gem! https://music.youtube.com/watch?v=mCLy6EHqZbI&si=ypbA1pgLut-4nU1g

Must admit it's very interesting on the piano. I'm a Chaconne violin fan and my fav rendition is by Julia Fisher. The way those chords ring, so cathedral like... bliss https://music.youtube.com/watch?v=96KPGcxbGV8

Julia Fisher is amazing indeed! I also like Heifetz, Hilary Hahn and Tezlaff. The most know transcrption for the piano is Busoni, it's also the one I play myself, but the Lutz one, it was composed around 4 years ago for Edna Stern, and I can't even find the sheet music! So it contributes to its rarity I guess.

100% some of those sheet music can be hard to come by. Even with certain operatic dvds, I just have to grab them fast when they pop up for sale. Wish you the best of luck in finding the score 🍀
