My Terrifying (But Hilarious) Anecdote
As a kid, I went to an amusement park and saw a giant clown with a huge balloon. Instead of backing away, I got closer, completely mesmerized. The balloon suddenly popped—right onto my face like a rubbery alien!
I dropped my ice cream and flailed around while the clown laughed hysterically. My family and half the park joined in, pointing at the "kid who got eaten by a balloon." To this day, I instinctively duck when I see clowns, but nothing beats the horror of losing my precious ice cream to the balloon gods!
