💰 Coinbase exchange complaint against


Coinbase has filed a complaint with the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC). This exchange has claimed that these entities have disrupted the work of the exchange through their unfair supervision, and this exchange also demanded transparency regarding this issue.

 Coinbase's lawsuit, on the other hand, focuses on the SEC's refusal to release information about Ethereum. In an interview with BeInCrypto, the Director of Compliance and Regulation at Crystal Intelligence stated this in relation to this issue:

"If the court upholds Coinbase, it could potentially lead to a defined regulatory framework for cryptocurrencies. This may limit the SEC's authority over certain types of cryptocurrencies, while possibly leading to stricter oversight." and lead to clearer rules for how institutions interact with companies active in the field of cryptocurrency."
