Hoverla (Polish: Howerla, Romanian: Hovârla, Hungarian: Hóvár) is the highest peak of the Ukrainian Carpathians and the highest point in Ukraine, with an altitude of 2,061 meters above sea level and an age of approximately 25 million years. It is located in the Chornohora mountain range on the border of Nadvirna district of Ivano-Frankivsk region and Rakhiv district of Zakarpattia region, 17 kilometers from the border with Romania
