That's correct. There's a tidy correlation between moneygun and some users losing their badges. The explanation is straight forward: overuse of the tool produces repetitious cast spam for that user, which likely gets them flagged. That seems to invalidate their badge.

there are many other tools that cast on your behalf

@gig created his own version - in fact, anyone can create their own moneygun-like client

@pichi used the moneygun since day 0 and she still has the power badge

also the claim you made is an assumption + observation based on correlation, which is not a fact based on evidence 

but many people perceived it as a fact

This is the worst part of it. His words carry a lot of weight in the community and people took it as fact even though he walked it back a bit later on. 

I’ll continue to use it as I have a ton of engagement with my followers that interact with it.
