is verifying email address currently broken on the mobile app? pressing "Continue" doesn't do anything - no errors shown. does anyone know a fix? cc @dwr.eth @v @linda @horsefacts.eth @woj.eth

This generally occurs when the stored passkey is not properly pointing to a recovery phrase that has an account associated. Fastest way for you to resolve this is pressing the X on top-right. Press "Sign in" and "Start an account recovery" with the email you have here.

understood - is it possible to update my passkey with the new recovery phrase?

Once you get the new phrase after the recovery — yes — you can update the passkey through Advanced Settings tab and you will be prompted as well. Keep in mind most issues around Passkeys are due to using a non-native password manager. So if that's the case — prefer using Apple Passwords next time.
