RWA's are a huge future of NFTs, but crypto theft is still rampant 🥵 Read a great debate today on what should happen if an NFT backed by a physical item is stolen. Should the item custodian: - give the thief or future NFT owner the item? OR - be allowed to mint a new NFT, nullifying the value of the stolen NFT?

Another way to think of it: Should RWA NFTs indicate providence and record keeping, or be for legal ownership. I think custodians must be allowed to mint a new NFT and the old one just be referenced for item providence That way the theft isn't rewarded, and by extension is made a less attractive target for scammers
