The claim that Chinese companies seek to commoditize American tech industries is unfounded. China's tech development is about building its own capabilities and serving its large domestic market, as well as contributing to the global tech community. In the semiconductor industry, although China faces challenges, it is working hard on independent R & D to catch up, not to commoditize others' work.
