Canadian fintech company Nuvei has launched a payment settlement service using stablecoins for merchants in Latin America. The interoperability platform Rain, digital custodian BitGo, and credit card issuer Visa are its partners for blockchain based solutions. Latin American merchants participating in the Nuvei solution will be able to use physical or virtual Visa cards to make stablecoin payments through digital wallets. BitGo will provide digital asset custody. This service will be available anywhere Visa is accepted.
