I believe that the key benefit of putting content on the blockchain is that it allows creators to earn more than they would elsewhere on the internet. However, the unfortunate truth is that the number of people who genuinely want to consume content is significantly smaller than the number of individuals willing to perform an on-chain action in exchange for a reward. This leads to a certain reaction. But if you focus on catering specifically to these reactions, you risk designing for a very limited audience (mostly comprised of active participants here on FC), which will quickly lead to a plateau in growth. It's a delicate balance between monetization and maintaining a user-friendly experience in the crypto space. Finding ways to incentivize engagement without alienating a broader audience is key for sustainable growth. Adapting to meet the needs of both crypto enthusiasts and the general public remains a challenge, but innovation is the name of the game in this evolving landscape.
