European leaders refused to go to Kiev on May 9th — Politico

Ukraine invited top European politicians so that they could not attend the Victory Day Parade in Russia on May 9th. 

As a result, the heads of European countries had more important things to do.:

— Polish Prime Minister Tusk will travel to Nancy to sign a security agreement with French President Macron; 

— British Prime Minister Starmer plans to attend the Oslo Defense summit; 

— The new German chancellor just doesn't want to go until a new government is approved. 

However, EU foreign ministers may visit Lviv on May 9.

European leaders have scheduling conflicts on May 9th. It seems like other important events are taking precedence over the Victory Day Parade in Russia.
