embedded wallets are pushing us to sign in w google and apple ID — the very specific examples of centralized not sovereign blah blah blah they say they are saving us from. how does that make sense? i think u know how it makes sense to them.

That is definitely not ideal, but a step up from centralized custodians. I sometimes wonder if supporting P256 curves natively on chain wouldn’t be the answer. It would open up Passkeys and all those security Yubi type keys to become first class wallets.
