1/2 If you’re building a web3 project and you have a backend that is not an L1, L2, side chain or some sort of permissionless and decentralized permutation of that, then you’re not doing it right.

2/2 A centralized backend should only work like Progressive Enhancement back in the old Web 2.0 days: a nice to have, but not crucial for operating the service.
