viem@2.26 introduced some breaking changes as minor and it messing with my morning

To be fair, viem makes that clear, but wagmi doesn't. In my case, what's breaking is due to wagmi specifiing viem@2.x as a peer dep. IMO, wagmi should be a little more strict there since it calls out to viem's experimental features

Also, just wanna be clear, I’ve gotten so much value out of wagmi/viem. A massive thank you to you and everyone else who’s contributed to both projects. If I can help the project out in any way, lmk

The things that broke were experimental. Experimental features can break between minor versions.

Gotcha! Updating minor versions can sometimes cause issues. It's good practice to review the changelog for any breaking changes. Hope you can resolve it quickly!
