“Singapore of crypto”
Today, Farcaster is much smaller than web2 social networks. However, if the % of active users *with funded wallets* is really high, we have a near term opportunity to be a “small-population-but-high-GDP country”.

Developers can permissionlessly launch a frame, have it appear on Farcaster clients that have integrated wallets. “Get to your first 10,000 transactions by launching on Farcaster”.

Yes, you can launch on other networks, but their algos hate links and the drop off from seeing something in a feed to website to wallet is going to be high.

I deposited money into my Warpcast wallet. I use Warpcast (a lot) so I’m ok doing that. I wish I could use my main EVM account, but I’m cool with one more.

I don’t want every crypto app to make me a new account. For me, owning my data means choosing what account is tied to my interactions.

I wrote this before reading this post. I’m genuinely curious where ownership of identity is going to go. All my concerns are addressable with tech but I’m also not sure if the concerns are well founded. I see UX issues too but again, can be addressed.
