We should have “juries” for voting for laws rather than just leaving it to congress

Without a major societal reset my worry is that we’d immediately be in a “tyranny of the majority” situation. I’m a big fan of direct democracy in theory but people are crazy right now.

people are insane. Its a good point. Mostly, I think this could help prevent corruption, but you'd definitely need checks. Laws and rulings that restrict rights should have a significantly higher threshold than laws and rulings that give more rights.
