What do people think of Replit? Predictions for where it goes, how it changes software development?

this one is a puzzle to me. i find replit so much slower than local development, the IDE feels cramped, and (afaik?) they have no extension marketplace. i'm probably not their audience though, because i don't mind config headaches and i mostly code on my own
