Favorite dev docs site you regularly use and why?

favorites: nextjs, sqlite, wagmi

least favorite: foundry

for me, good docs do two things:
1) help me build a mental model of how the tool is meant to be used -> the "guides" section
2) unblock me as quickly as possible -> the "API reference" section

oooh this happened to me too. iirc, it was around the time they got the wagmi. sh domain, and google was still ranking the old vercel subdomain version

wagmi is great except for the time I fell into an old version of the docs from Google, and pounded my head against the wall wondering why a deprecated feature wasn’t working 🙃

for me it was the API reference for cheatcodes. to their credit, they were shipping super fast and imo it's reasonable to invest less in docs when the frequency of changes is so high. plus, early adopters are likely to tolerate a few bad experiences 🤷‍♂️

i recently had to set up foundry for a project (specifically anvil for FE testing/simulating mainnet interactions) and it was horrible haha
