The Apollo Guidance Computer (AGC) was such a marvel of software & computer engineering on top of all mech & EE + interdisciplinary engineering it took to make the Lunar Module reach / be able to land on the surface of the moon. Able to handle radar, IMU, display, input, & engine commands - all done in the 1960s

It’s crazy thinking about the accomplishments with the resources they had back then. The optimizations they had to do with that hardware is wild
