(1/2) I feel that the BASE rewards system could have taken a different direction. If the score calculation were divided into 100%, it should have been allocated as follows: 70% for MOXIE holdings 20% for BASE activity 10% for referrals I hold $25,000 worth of MOXIE, but my score is only 63. I think the system should have encouraged users to purchase MOXIE to increase their scores and facilitated transactions so that those who sold MOXIE would have an incentive to buy it back. Currently, everyone on Warpcast knows about MOXIE, which makes the inclusion of the referral system seem unnecessary.

Everything has its place, but the same goes for reactions—they’ve always been exploited by farmers. Why should I add to liquidity? Why should I lock fan tokens if, every month, even with decent earnings in Moxie, my invested funds just keep shrinking? Why should I spend hours distributing Moxie when, during that time, I’m not earning anything myself? There are always so many questions, yet even fewer answers.

We invest and provide Farcaster rewards to users who haven’t made any investments. And these users often sell their rewards in the market. However, the recent Base rewards were designed to allow investors to earn returns and attract new investors. But this system also lacks restrictions, and scores can only be increased through referrals. Investors like us do not sell Moxie. However, the fact that prices are falling indicates that there is currently no incentive to invest. I hope the team listens to the opinions of investors like us. In particular, the lack of transparency around rules, and the delay in addressing issues due to holidays despite citing a lack of workforce, are major factors causing a loss of trust.

I understand this perfectly well. Like you and many other investors, I’ve been supporting the project almost since its inception. This project takes a lot of effort, time, and money, and in return, we don’t really get anything except an audience and tons of spam. Meanwhile, farmers calmly continue farming, and with every new update, they find loopholes for ultra-farming, which partially contributes to the price drop and drives reasonable people away from the project. No one blocks them because they are also considered "investors." The delays in resolving issues have become the norm, and there’s nothing we can do about it except wait.

Yes, the recent Base rewards were meant to be a stepping stone to higher achievements, but it’s truly disappointing. I sincerely hope the Base rewards policy is entirely corrected, even now. If things continue as they are, no new funds will come in. And was it really the right choice not to invest sometimes and get it for free like everyone else? I think.
