Recently found a cooking method I instantly fell in love with. It takes 35 minutes total, but only 5 of those are active. I stole it from an Italian nonna’s menu and it’s now in my permanent rotation:

- Chop any veggies and cover with a bit of water. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat.
- Place a soup plate on top with a piece of chicken, meat patty, or fish.
- Cover with a lid and left it for 30 min.

Here’s an example for one:

Broth:
2 carrots + 1 zucchini. Take the veggies out of the broth when tender, season with salt, olive oil, and lemon juice.

Chicken:
Slice a chicken breast, season, drizzle with olive oil, add the flesh and juice of one tomato. You can add the juices that come out while steaming to the broth for extra flavor.

Soup:
Toss some vermicelli into the broth at the end and cook for 5 minutes.

You’ll have a warm, comforting dinner: clear soup with noodles, steamed chicken, and veggies.
Minimal effort, maximum cozy.

USA Rare Earth, the magnet manufacturing startup that went public last month via a SPAC deal, is surging a day after news broke that China was cutting off exports of key rare earth elements and magnets made from them.

BEIJING/LONDON, April 4 (Reuters) - China placed export restrictions on rare earth elements on Friday as part of its sweeping response to U.S. President Donald Trump's tariffs, squeezing supply to the West of minerals used to make weapons, electronics and a range of consumer goods.
The move, which Beijing had long hinted was possible, further ratchets up trade tensions between the world's two largest economies and leaves American manufacturers scrambling for fresh supplies of the critical minerals they have relied upon for decades.

Lost both my bottom canine baby teeth this week. Seems like there could be a less painful process to get new ones.
