Dear @jacek,

In season 6, you rolled out a new system you hadn't quite properly thought through.  Last minute, you caved to the biggest whales.  You told users to lock up their precious degen and receive an allowance to do what they want with. 

So they did.  They opened up channels for "tip-for-tip" and "401k matching" (which you condoned).

You misaligned incentives with the site's most active users, and now degen is being exploited by the people you bent the knee to.

NOW, you have appointed a select group of people to clean up this mess with subjective standards and burdened us with the responsibility of deciding "what's right."

If you want to unlock people's money and change the rules, fine.  

But I won't be a part of this.

I’m actually really enjoying this season because there’s less pressure to be active 24/7 to move up the ranks. It was never realistic to maintain the pace of previous seasons. Some casters that weren’t getting allowance are now in the game, I’m happy to see that.

Tho for some reason we keep dropping in the ranks every day. It does not matter if we are active all day or if we cast just onece - we just keep dropping - which probably means that the bots are beating us in the ranks no matter what we do....

Most of the allowance comes from the locked degen, but because people keep buying more degen to lock it to get more allo - it dilutes the whole system and the allo keeps dropping a little bit for everyone (people will probably eventually stop buying more). There is an additional bonus part of the allo based on your rank - and here is where the bots that can be active 24 hours a day and have us beat, so again we keep dropping in the ranks daily...

A few days ago we did a little experiment and we were active 14 hours - casting, replying all the time. The next day we lost (!) the power badge and got a huge drop in the allo 😂 So the next few days were did very little - and the allo dropped of course, but not as much 😂  We started the season with an allowance of 400 and today we are down to 338... We can't fully figure this out either...

Interesting. I really don’t know how the algo works but I noticed if I wasn’t active liking and commenting on ppls posts my engagement would be worse, which would mean my allocation would be less.
