The gaming ecosystem on TheOpenNetwork (TON) blockchain is experiencing explosive growth in 2024. Inal Kardan, the head of games at TON Foundation, revealed that currently about 20% of Telegram's monthly active users play at least one game, a 20 fold increase from December last year. Leisure games such as Notcoin and HamsterKombat may have brought tens of millions or even billions of new users to Web3 through the Telegram platform. Notcoin has completed a $1 billion token airdrop, and HamsterKombat claims to have over 300 million users and plans to conduct the "largest airdrop in cryptocurrency history". Industry insiders predict that more moderate games will be launched on TON and Telegram in the next six months, which is expected to bring considerable revenue. @seb @drunky
