One thing that's super underrated about SS is its lighter backend than most. We built the whole interaction pattern around self-custody and blockchains as the source of truth/data/history. For sovereignty or privacy, this is A+. For speed.. it's complicated. Sometimes it chonky, and fall over. 4/

Case in point: new networks. Many projects have more options for hitting an endpoint, following a similar data structure for in-app actions, and calling it day. "Oh, it's OP stack? Cool. That's one week for Tx history, swapping, NFT display, etc. " Not SS. 5/

Powered by Thorchain and others under the hood (see earlier about rolling own infra), Shapeshift is one of the first truly multichain interfaces. Not just EVMs but UTXOs, COSMOS zones, **AND** EVMS. Not all, but we're working on it. In public. 8/
