My understanding is ordinals are bringing new life to btc which is bullish for everyone, I don't have any yet but it's on my radar

Haha, it depends on who you ask! The red-eye BTC Maxis definetly aren't happy that we are trading on the blockchain.

You should definetly try and get into Ordinals before the halving and the new Runes protocol.  At the very minimum you can start reading this:
