Has anyone run into an issue where when casting a link for a frame programmatically, the embed doesn’t show, but casting a frame directly from the WC client works fine?

I actually figured to out. When you programmatically cast a frame you have to include the link to your frame in an embed field otherwise is just sent through as plain text
