The U.S. announced that the seasonally adjusted non-farm payrolls increased by 206,000 in June, compared with 272,000 in the previous month and 190,000 expected. The unemployment rate rose to 4.1% in June, from 4% in the previous month and expected to be 4%, the highest since November 2021.
