A couple of days with ChatGPT Pro.

o1 feels like talking to a really smart and fast Google. Good for many things.

o1 Pro feels like talking to someone who knows things. Incredible for most things.

o1 Pro is really slow. Like it can take 2 minutes to give you a reply sometimes, but the reply is usually worth it.

so you're saying the same convo (prompt + back-and-forths) would have taken hours more with o1 or Claude to reach the same outcome?

you can switch back and forth in modes, so you can put it in o1 if you want the quick basic answers but so far my experience is I just way fewer back and forths with it because I just get to what I want way sooner. But yea I've had some long conversations with it lol.

But one of my modes is defintely use Pro for something more meaty and then just switch into o1 for follow ups and then if I want to go deep switch back to Pro.
