TIP: Got a Base name? Want to make it your primary address (so that whenever a Web3 site displays your address, it displays the Basename)? You have to make it primary on BASE first at base. org/names. Setting it to "primary" there (4 part transaction) appears to make it primary for base chain sites only. (I could be wrong.) Once it is your primary BASE name, THEN go to ENS dot app, and make it your primary ETH name on that chain. ENS is a Mainnet transaction and takes regular eth, not base eth! Only then will you be primary everyplace (like OpenSea). If you want to transfer your base name to another address you own, another wallet, or to someone else entirely, make that transaction at BASE. org/names under "Ownership" tab.
