In 2024, more regulatory clarity and advancements were witnessed with the 𝘍𝘐𝘛21 bill in the U.S., approval of 𝘴𝘱𝘰𝘵 𝘌𝘛𝘍𝘴 for Bitcoin and Ethereum, and increased institutional participation. However, 𝘀𝗲𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗯𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝘀 remained a persistent issue, threatening the institutional and overall mass adoption. Notably the losses due to funds stolen in whole 2024 are almost already on same level as in the entire year of 2023: ~$𝟭.𝟰𝗕 (𝗤𝟭+ 𝗤𝟮 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰) 𝘃𝘀. $𝟭.𝟵𝗕 (𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟯).
