Hao Gang, deputy director of the Beijing Financial Bureau, was sentenced to 11 years in prison. Caixin reported that Hao was involved in Bitcoin money laundering. He also assisted a senior executive of a leading Bitcoin mining company to lift border control, and the bribes he received may have reached tens of millions of yuan.
