How does one get Opensea to update the metadata for a collection? I changed the name on a collection on @zora but I can't get it to show up on os and by extension every service that uses their API for displaying collection info.

You can refresh metadata in the top right three dots menu. Have had issues with Zora though, seems to be an ipfs issue sometimes (maybe a gateway thing?)

seems that's for individual tokens, not for the collection metadata? There's no api endpoint for this either afaik. Maybe they determined that collection data never should change.

There is a similar 3 dots on the Zora collection page on their site that claims to refresh the whole collection but it’s not been helpful (or maybe the delay is long?) when I’ve tried it in the past It does seem to eventually catch up over days/weeks but yeah not ideal

Got it. I understand what you mean now. The issue I am having is that links here on Warpcast or the rainbow wallet app are not updated with the metadata of the collection but seem to be stuck in the original name and description. Leads me to believe they’re using the OS API and the indexed version they have.

I seeeee sorry I was slow to understand😂 My assumption would be the collection refresh emits event to OS but not 100% sure Would be nice if there were more control via etherscan
