Was it a beautiful hike? I’m new still. I did chain lakes last week + 3 other day hikes this Summer. Always looking for recommendations

Ahhh so jealous. I’ve been told fullush moon night hikes are hard to come by because of clouds. I’m not entirely sure I 100% trust my sources. Hiking here is very different than the southwest trips I’m used to

What state are you in? Washington summers, especially in eastern Washington, are often clear in the evenings. We’ve been doing nightly walks and they’ve pretty incredible. Here’s another shot from a night earlier this week

I moved to WA a little under a year ago from LA. I have kinda been following my sister who has taken me on some great hikes here but we have some different ideas about timing. Chain lakes was magical but I would have preferred leaving later instead of early for the best light and to avoid the hard sun on the switchbacks. I love night hikes but I don’t think she is as keen. Going to do my own research. Gorgeous photos. Thank you

Awesome! Have you hiked any of the enchantments yet? There are a probably thousands of incredible hikes around the cascades. Anything out of I90 past Snoqualmie pass is likely worth it. There’s one that I love up at Snoqualmie, drawing a blank on its generic name, lost lake maybe?, it’s by Alpental, can’t miss it on All Trails
