Today he declared a state of emergency at the border. SOE’s give him powers he wouldn’t normally have like more easily seizing bank accounts from people I’m not worried about people here because most of them are clearly taking care of themselves and don’t speak about much more than that This place is embarrassing today but the technology is still useful. I’m interested in any local networks using crypto to protect what little cash people have left

Just to be clear I wasn't making a political statement. I was only talking about the idea that we need to bring the world onchain somehow by any means necessary. This has always seemed absurd to me. Just keep making actual useful things. I don't think blockchain has any solutions to the president being a fascist imbecile. (I'd love to be proven wrong about that, but I just don't see it happening.)
