I was researching lenticular printing last night for /gen-x and I just realized why I love your art so much

I had a portrait photography business for 20 years. I know some great printers but not sure lenticular printing works the same. If you haven’t seen Fuji metallic paper, check that out. My guess is the best outcomes will be from prints you design and attach the lenticular plastic on top

Lenticular prints work differently from what I remember: you send a series of images which are used to create the motion effect. The issue I found with it is the poor resolution/sharpness of the prints. I think it works best with blurry graphics.

You’re correct BUT it looks like there is a way to take any two images at any resolution and create an action in photoshop to create the file as you like it. I’m just 2 days old learning but the commercial printers aren’t printing for the art market so results aren’t great. I was looking to do photos so that might make a difference too

Oh yes true, you can do that too! I know Rafael Rozendaal made some very large lenticular prints, I would assume they are archival.
