Anyone else have a fear of public speaking, but force yourself to do it anyway? Drop your best tips, I’m compiling a list.

I hate the “just do it” model as motivational advice but this seems to be the way. Start with brief talks to your cats then dinner parties then TED. If you have a local toast masters, go. Everyone is working on it so it feels a little safer than a seminar. It’s like the #1 human fear. You’re not alone

That’s generally been my approach. There’s a saying from the devops movement, “if something hurts, do it more often” that I apply to speaking. The more I do it, I assume the less painful it will become.
