I’ve heard people refer to Myers-Briggs as “male astrology,” but Myers and Briggs were in fact a mother/daughter team. (INTJ btw)

It’s because Myers and Briggs merely popularized Carl Jung’s typology system, which he himself based heavily in astrology. Myers-Briggs is astrology for the skeptical, scientific age. That was literally Jung’s goal: to repackage astrology in 20th century, rational language.
