2) Ethereum - commodity vs. security discussion: Gary Gensler is an expert in cryptography. He does understand very well how crypto works. You also have to understand that the US has to regulators, the CFDC (commodities) and the SEC (securities). At this point this seems like a turf war on who got to regulate ETH.

3) At the moment we have an estimated 52 million US citizens using cryptocurrencies, and 400 million people globally. Brian Armstrong seems to calculate with 1 - 2 billion users eventually (conservatively). That would put BTC price at around 12-13M.

4) We have to be really skeptical about off-shore exchanges. Coinbase is heavily regulated and only includes about 10% of the total cryptocurrency market on their exchange as they solely aim to „host“ commodities. FTX-like events can come faster than you can click.
