haven't worked in it longer than a few hours but it was feature-complete for what I needed to do. imported an old InDesign project to make updates ahead of a tradeshow, and everything was there including guides and master pages. opens fast, previews fast. minor complaint is that if I have special fonts, I have to install them system-wide before I can use them, and I confused myself trying to clear the preflight warnings for that. but the main reason I switched is because I got a new Surface Pro with the Snapdragon chip and the Adobe stuff refuses to work on Snapdragon. the other 95% of my tools "just work".

Wrapped up my warm-intro calls yesterday, doing market exploration. Didn't get exactly what I wanted to hear but didn't leave empty handed: discovered some players that didn't come up in web searches. Market is mature with entrenched and legacy players. Confirmed the strategy I need to take.

Yeah about 70 there. Good time but mostly saying hi and helping with product issues. But I had dinner with one of the other vendors and I asked for contacts in the "firm owners" space (as opposed to sole proprietors)
