This is an industry rooted in libertarian beliefs. While I think this outcome it is sad, it shouldn’t really come as any surprise. Individual responsibility is a core belief for many in this industry. Personally, I think it speaks more to the failings of modern society than a scathing statement about the current state of the crypto industry.
