how do I turn this into an ERC-20?

i created it by the zora app two days ago, but it's not doing the thing it's advertised to do

I’ve now minted four pieces using the new Zora protocol and not a single one has turned into a coin post mint. 

There is nothing in the Zora docs that say it shouldn’t either. 

What gives? Genuinely curious

All four contracts are latest and greatest version, yes.

did you updated the contract before minting? just making sure

It’s becomes an erc20 when u sell it or when u unwrap via contract call

i think people have to manually wrap the tokens if i’m not tripping

You need to wrap them first. I think you have to do this is on Etherscan although I may be wrong. 

The new protocol 'upgrade' makes no sense at all to me on any level - for Zora or for creators - unless you are selling 1000's and then maybe it's an interesting feature with limited use cases you miht use once
